Got around to installing the 2020 emblem with a twist - wrapped the emblem in smoke vinyl to give it the black pearl emblem effect. Made a YouTube video on installation/debadging.

I paid $55 CAD before taxes. Wholesale price from the dealer.

 

Do you have a link to the emblem? Seems like a lot of knock off stuff when i searched. The only genuine emblems i found were over 100 USD

 

I personally went straight to the dealer and picked it up yesterday. Came to $62 CAD after tax. But keep in mind that’s wholesale shop price. It would’ve been somewhere around 80$ for a regular customer.

I got mine from Longo Lexus for only $30 shipped to TX.

 

i didn't get as good of a deal as you guys, but i ended up ordering mine directly from my local dealership, $62.50 USD

 

NIce work my friend. I'm actually not a fan of the look of the emblem but appreciate that you are. I think what I want to do is a smoked version of the open (original) emblem. Not sure how to approach that though.

 

Thanks man - and yes, definitely gives it a bit of a modern look. What you want is black pearl. I don't think any vendors sell this anymore. You can paint them - that's really the only way.

 

I'd really like a CF badge, and I know there was a vendor doing that at one time, but not sure now. Ideally it would be the L badge on the rear and the 3 F badges. Any suggestion on that?

 

I had my rear emblem and RC hydro-dipped in carbon fiber by https://deepbluechrome.com/. I could not be happier with results.

 

Great, what did that cost you and how long did it take, if you don't mind me asking?

 

It is listed on their website for $63.00. I think it is cheaper if you send them your emblem. It took about 4 weeks. They are on the west coast if I remember correctly.
