Default Gaskets for borla exhaust

Will the oem lexus gaskets part:90917-06070 work with any aftermarket exhaust including borla?

trying to avoid a CEL.

OEM gaskets worked on my Invidia catback so I would assume they should work on the Borla as well.

OEM will work fine, as mentioned above, but mind the left / right side as they're slightly different when reusing them to ensure a seated fit. Also note that you may have to go back in and re-torque them again after a few days.

thanks! How do i know which gasket is for which side? Is it noted on the packaging?

Part numbers are different. Maybe try to find an exploded parts view and have that handy when you install them.

Thanks i just put in an order for the gaskets. i will double check to make sure the right one goes on the right side.

I replaced the gaskets when in the Borla was installed and as you can see the new gasket looks misshaped, but works.

both sides old ....one new

old burned down

side by side
