Default How to view the springs on the car

So I bought the car and it looks like it's lowered. Below is the photo of the dealer ad. Is there a way to view what kind of springs it has or do I need to just remove the whole shock assembly? I tried to view from the wheel well and I couldn't do it.

Looks like a very mild drop (if it is). Looks very close to stock height. I think if they are aftermarket then it is Swift (which is a good thing since they have good spring rates on RCF). They have under 1 inch drop. RS-R is garbage with aggressive drop, but many suffered blown shocks with RS-R due to cr*ppy spring rates. You definitely don't seem to have RS-R. I believe, you will have to take off the wheel or put the car on the lift to see what type of springs they are.

Here is mine on stock height. Your gap looks very close to mine on stock suspension. Probably might be a 0.8 inch drop on yours.

Thanks Rolla. I'll measure from the ground to the top of the wheel well when I get home today. At that measurement, where is stock usually? 27"? 27.5"?

I want to compare my drop with people on stock springs.

I can give you that tonight after work tonight. The rear is slightly higher than the front due to bigger circumference on the rear (26.6 inches rear and 26.0 front on OEM size tires). However, my car is parked on a slope so it might be a bit off. Not sure how off would it be, but I will put it up anyways.

Thanks Rolla! I appreciate it. They don't ride particularly harsh...then again I'm coming form an 08 ISF which had a really stiff suspension so...

That car looks stock height in that picture.

Here's mine before and after Swift springs. Left is stock, right is lowered.

It looks like mine is 1.25 to 1.5” drop. Am I reading that right?

Should measure it centered on the hub, but that looks lowered to me. You figure out what springs are on it yet?

That is what it looks like, but sometimes the alignment/camber etc. can skew the gap a bit. Swift is around 1 inch or maybe, slightly less. Did you check if you have any spacers?

If they turn out to be RS-R, I would get rid of them ASAP before the shocks blow.

No spacers. How do I tell they are RSR?

Okay so I took the photos again and made sure they are right on the middle of the wheel. It looks like 25-13/16” on the front and 26-1/4” on the rear.
