For a gasket match or for full port work? I'd do the heads for about $4k, but it would be the full monty, not just a port match. Sad I don't have time to do that stuff anymore. It's a lot of fun.

That's assuming you delivered the heads to me. If I had to pull them, yeah, I can see it being $4k for just a port match. Pulling the heads is no small feat on these things.

I see a single stud in the head, but zero dowel pins for positively locating the manifold on the head. Is that correct? So even if you did manage to get them ideally sized with zero step, you'd have to figure out how to position them correctly on install to line up the ports with the manifold?

If i I understand you. There is s threaded stud I removed before I removed the mani so I didn't drag the mani across the stud. And Headgames Performance quoted my 3600 400 a each cylinder is their rates for a full head job

So are you spraying the intake plenum or going whole (hole) hog and adding port injectors? I'm guessing the former? If so, how much?
Thanks!

How much of a pain in the butt was it to remove the intake manifold? I have an IS500 and wanted to paint it the Heat Blue Satin 8Z1 color code. That should be vary close to the color of the manifold on the F cars.

Thank you,
