ECU removal help

I have a 2015 RCF and needed to get the ECU out to send it in for tuning. I'm having trouble trying to unlock this adapter from it's slot. Can anyone tell me how to get it out so that I can get to the bolt? What am I doing wrong?

Try this - I remember this being a real PITA when I did the valve lash inspection the first time:
