RC F secondary cats deleted ( video attached )
Hello guys
I want to share with you what I did to my RC F.
I did delete the secondary cats and replaced it with straight pipe.

Good one. Did you leave the resonator or you deleted the resonator as well?

I was not going to cut and wield a straight pipe it, I want to get a custom mid pipe made so I can retain the stock OEM as a direct replacement.

Invidia is brilliant. It has so many layers and textures of sound almost exotic-like, but only louder by about 20 - 30% more than stock. It really makes one appreciate the V8 a lot more. I have wife and two kids. No one is ever bothered by the loudness of the exhaust. It actually makes slow driving in bumper to bumper in manual/sport+ a lot more fun because you enjoy the noise echoing off the cars around you. You are missing out. Once you hear it in real life, you will realize it is not THAT loud at all.

All I did was swap mid section (OEM mid section houses your 2nd catalytic converts and resonators) for an ARH brand mid section (which deletes the 2nd cats but has ARH resonators). The ARH mid section is 3" so is slightly larger than OEM but still mates no problem.
Zero leaks, no codes, reused OEM gaskets.

Sounds great! I wish somehow we could retain that initial start up sound

We alternate daily, but this is 75% her daily driver, so she did NOT want it too loud. She did mentioned that she wouldn't mind it a little louder but there is no little louder I told her, once we switch full exhaust it'll be louder than she wants.
We have a few cars, she doesn't like how loud my Audi (my daily driver) is but tolerates that. For what its worth, I'll have it lowered and full CF lip kit on it by summer I hope, new wheels by Fall and that will be the end of the modding for the RCF. She used to drive to work in my 2010 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S a few years ago but when I went custom exhaust from downpipes back it pissed her off and she hasn't driven it since lol.

After researching for months on the exhaust set up and to make this clear I was not looking for an increase in HP rather wanting to increase the volume of the OEM setup but retain the sound profile with no RASP!
After looking around on 100's of videos, reading comments, reaching out messaging people who have posted and reading forums including this thread thanks Mesh704 I decided on the secondary cat delete. This achieves exactly what I am after and I am happy with the outcome.
The exhaust shop used 409 stainless (same material as OEM exhaust system) to maintain the look of the stock systems. The wields are identical to factory and very hard to know that anything is altered in anyway.
The increase in volume is around 10-15% and sounds fantastic outside of the car, can be heard inside the cabin if music is off and engine at low RPMs. At WOT higher RPMs in the RC F as you know all you can hear is the intake sound.
There is zero rasp; as rasp can often be a byproduct of significant increased volume!
By the way everything else within the exhaust system is stock including retaining resonators and mufflers.
Here is a clip.
