RCF Dash Rattle
I have a RCF Track Edition and my only issue is a horrible dash rattle when hitting potholes or expansion joints on the freeway. The sound comes from the passenger side glove box area. I haven’t had much time to look into it but from a quick look I think it may be the top panel inside of the glove box or maybe the airbag area. If I open the glove box it doesn’t change the sound and if I remove the tray in the glove box it still makes the sound. If I tap on the inside top panel of the glove box it seems to replicate the sound.
Have any of you had a similar rattle and if so what did you to to fix it?
I was gonna try putting a towel or something inside the glove box area to put pressure on the area or maybe a piece of sound matt. I definitely want to avoid the dealer at this point because I don’t want them marring or damaging anything while poking around I would rather mess with it for now.
It drives me crazy so appreciate any info!

No rattle whatsoever at 11,000 miles. Stomps over bumps with a very solid thump. It might be where the windshield meets the frame. Did you check near the windshield?

I will check that area. I need to go for a ride on the passenger side to help narrow it down.
The sound resembles a plastic rattle but who knows. Super annoying sound is all I can say.

Track editions should be under warranty right? Just let the dealer handle it! Lol

If it is indeed the a rattle between the dash and window I used some thick felt and stuffed it between where the plastic and glass meet and pushed it all the way down. It was happening on my ISF.

I sold the car but during ownership it drove me nuts. Everything I could see or get to was ok in the area of the sound. I believe its a harness or the way the airbag is mounted behind the glovebox and under the dash that rattles when hitting bumps or expansion joints on the freeway, The TE rides very stiff and bumpy so that's all I heard on most drives. I would jut turn on the music to drown it out.

Yes in all modes but less if not Sport +.

Then, I think it has less to do with the TE suspension stiffness and more to do with something not being installed properly and was rattling. With my fixed/non-AVS, I have been on patches where my teeth were chattering as it was so wavy/bumpy, but the car was brick solid. No noise anywhere.

No dash noise for me.

I’m at 1,858 no rattles of any kind, but there’s one issue I have is that when they installed the intake hose to the throttle body it wasn’t wrapped all the way, so one part is crimped. It was a good thing that went with the RR Racing intake kit and that is when it was discovered.
