Lol good article, but i is not a track edition. Come on. It is just a standard RCF with some carbon options on it. You should correct the header. It has a moon roof on it and has no track edition specific spoiler. It was all discussed before on that inaccuracy. You can see the difference.
It is very confusing to me why Lexus produced something called the "track package" (which is what this car has) when the "Track Edition" also exists. In my opinion, it was a mistake in nomenclature. That said, there is something called the track package for the Euro markets, which is an RC F with what we know as the performance package that also includes the lightweight wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. Basically it sits in between the performance package and the track edition, and automotive journalists frequently call it the wrong thing.
Thanks for the correction @VBB. It also needs to be fixed on the front page as well
I checked it on Lexus UK page and they have some stand-alone options the buyer can add and they call that "track pack". They are TVD, carbon fiber individual bits, carbon ceramic brakes, track edition wheels etc. This is an odd configuration that has a moonroof, but they are calling it track pack because it has the RC TE wheels on it and possibly a TVD. There seem to be no carbon fiber bits on it as all of them are body colored. No carbon hood, roof, spoiler. It is a very odd name since it is a standard RCF with a moon roof and couple of stand-alone options. Hence the track pack LOL
So looks like we should just disregard any reviews out of the UK since they didn't really get the Track Edition. Just a package with a similar name. Euro tags are pretty easy to spot, lol.
Does not seem curated at all if the simple signs of what a track edition RCF is and what a standard RCF are missed. Still inaccurate information being displayed on the front page. Not sure why they are not fixing it.
