EDIT: Wait... do you mean the front vs rear pads?
There was a TSB for customers that complained the original pads were "too noisy". So there's literally 2 OEM options for the RCF.

Original parts (more aggressive pads):
04465-0W191 Front
04466-0W070 Rear

Service Bulletin parts (less noise, maybe less performance):
04465-0W200 Front
04466-0W080 Rear

Ohhhhh... I get it now. Just looked up those part numbers and it appears that the Original Parts have 2 grooves in the pad (for the front) and 1 groove (for the back), where as the SB parts have 1 groove for the front, and one groove in the middle of the pad for the back pads. It appears that the original parts do have zero grooves in the back for the inside pad, and then the outside pad has a groove at the far edge of the pad.

still haven’t answered my question.

How many high speed repeated stops do you make in the street?”

you said you did but you really didn’t.

I’ll give you my answer. I like high performance cars because they are fun, not just engine but also suspension and brake performance. I don’t buy cheap street pads for high performance car because I know they are gonna ruin the feeling of high performance car for me. But I guess whatever floats your boat.
post 47?....were you referring to another question I asked you or were you answering your own question?

I assumed since I gave you the courtesy of answering your question that I had thought you intended to do the same. If not then never mind lol. The “cheap” Brembo pads are coming on this Saturday and I’ll write up an extensive review from bed in to stop and go traffic to highway to a decent canyon drive. I hope they don’t over heat and I wind up down a side of a mountain in flames.....then i guess you can say “I told you so”. LOL.

No matter how you interpret my post, I never once said about doing repeated high speed stops on the street. Maybe find a better post, otherwise you were just lying what others say or didn't say.

You keep asking me about "repeated high speed stops", that I owe you an answer to this. I already gave you one, two times. Here's it is below. TLDR: I don't care about repeated high speed stops, that not what I do on the streets. I care about the feeling of high performance brakes, that's why I drive a high performance car.

So far, the arguments about street pads are that they are good enough for the streets, you won’t do repeated high speed stops on the street and it’s the tires that stop the car. All are valid arguments. But affordable street pads, most likely built with generic formula for “street driving”, on a 3900 lbs 467hp car, my logic just tells me that type of pads won’t give me the smiles I want out of my performance car. Now if I can’t get the smiles out of my performance car, then why bother driving it, maybe I am better off with a Civic.

BTW Thread title says “Brake pad decision. I want some opinions.”, here you go, my opinion right here.

Okay. Well thank you for your contribution to this thread. I do appreciate the feedback....whether it’s helpful or not. I’m sure you feel good about your decisions and in the end that’s all that matters. Anymore knowledge you want to contribute to this thread is also greatly appreciated.

You're welcome. Hope the pads you got work out for you. But if not, maybe give a try to the ones below next time, they are around the same price range.

Nah...if these don’t work out then I might as well go PMU NS or back to OEM. 😂

Oh and also, aren't the OEM pads semi-metallic?
