What Did You Do To Your F Today?

Getting ready for Summit Point this weekend, Figs was able to get a set of front brakes sent out just in time. Was raining last night when I bedded the pads, but front already feels better. People aren't joking when they say 2-piece rotors are an immediately noticeable improvement.
Front rotors at 52k, had a pretty good lip going on. This was after two sets of OEM Brembo pads.
Rears should be here in time for next track day coming up in June.

Brakes held up great, but Figs isn't lying with their disclaimer about accelerated pad wear when tracking the XT910 pads. Pretty sure I went through half the usable pad thickness in a single weekend!
I was stopping so well from 140 mph that I caused another issue that I'll probably make a separate post about. Basically right after the first turn at the end of this aggressive stop I was blowing black smoke until I let off for the next turn. Only had smoke on that part of the track. Even got black flagged at one point because officials thought I broke something.

Dropped off at the dealership today for service and maintenance by the F specialist there. It has 18,400 KM on the clock. While I was there, they ran it through Hunters alignment scanner and the alignment passed. Pretty awesome considering I have never had an alignment on this car since I got it. Total cost would be $243 + tax.

Got my RCF back a little while ago
Summary:
- Everything looks good. No need for alignment.
- Full service was done and cost $270 all in taxes included.
- Brakes are still doing great. Have 6 mm front and 6 mm rear. Has not changed much in 2 years (but, then again I drove only 1500 miles in 2 years).
- PS4S tires are almost brand new, but I had quite a few tail slides out of turns, spin off the line etc. so I was not sure what the wear is, but I have 9/32 tread left so that is great.
- They don't have any issues with the three new mods I did recently.
- I checked with the F specialist if I purchased FIGS or RR Racing 90 durometer lower control arm bushings, would they be willing to install? He said, since it is a separate part from lower control arm, they will be able to do it. That makes it my next mod. He did ask my why I wanted to do it since RCF has very good OEM lower control arm bushing as he has been swapping the RCF lower control arm bushings into a lot of Lexus IS cars as well as the ISF. They seem to be very popular. I said, OEM are quite good, but I still want to try out since more is better.
- On the way back, I came up from behind a MK5 Supra (two-tone Nardo grey like color with black roof top). When I went forward, the Supra driver switched two lanes and was coasting in my blind spot. Not sure if the driver was checking my car out or not. When my exit came, I downshifted to 2nd and blasted away.

Ordered carbon fiber side mirror covers to match the carbon fiber roof and spoiler. It is coming from China so it will take a few weeks to get here.

Hey man,
I ordered it off amazon. For you in the US, amazon.com has the following vendors selling it. All of them are based in China. They are quite reasonably priced so I picked one that made the most sense on amazon.ca. You can check out amazon.com link below. It is probably the only aesthetic change I will do in the future. Maybe, a carbon fiber chin spoiler like the 2020+ RCF has, but my hesitation is over drilling in the bumper I will see. Cheers
