I had no idea how fragile those hoses were, I didn’t move the AOS that much when I emptied the catch can. Do you know how I can get the hose? Or the part number? Thanks for all the help guys. I have been stressing, I hope my engine isn’t going to blow up or something
Which part of the hose is cracked? The factory hose or the aftermarket added-on catch can hose? The factory one is 12261-38130, it goes from the top of the engine block (under the manifold) to the intake manifold just behind the throttle body. Do not get it undone or pulled off the engine block end, or it will be tough to get in back on, might need to remove the intake manifold. With not enough vacuum, the brake booster isn't getting enough assist so that's what you're experiencing with the brakes.

also, I was told not to mess with the hose that goes underneath as if that gets pulled off I’m “screwed”. Sorry for all the noob questions. Thank you so much for your help btw, been trying to figure this out on my own with no experience.

this is the hose I think is cracked, as you can see the installer tightened the clamp like crazy and I guess I might have moved the hose and i think it cracked right there. There’s some electrical tape around it right now. I called a shop and they want to charge me $800 to fix this
Yeah, it looks like it's cracked here:

Looks like there's some slack in the hose, if so, you might want to try to cut the hose right on the crack and perhaps a little at the foam insulation and sheathing so the clamp fits over the new portion of the hose.

^^^^ To confirm if it's cracked or not, use a spray bottle with water and spray at the suspected crack with the engine idling, if the idle increases, that's the crack.

So I took it into the shop by my house and they fixed the issue. Apparently that hose got loose under neath where I couldn’t even see. They put a clamp on it and swapped my plugs out for new ones. Everything is good now, they reset the ECU so I’m just gonna break her back in and everything should be fine. Thanks for all the feedback and advice guys
