Hi guys, just bought my 2015 RC F with only 32k miles. I noticed that when driving, the RPM will idle around 500RPM (600RPM with the AC on). Although if I put it in park or neutral, it’ll raise itself and stay around 750RPM. I’ve changed the air filter and cleaned the throttle body, has anyone ever had this problem? No lights are on the dash. Went to lexus and they did a relearn reset on the car but it’s been a couple days and is still around 500RPM at idle.

Car can’t even climb drive ways unless I give it gas. It’s stock with just a muffler delete. No oil catch can or anything. Happened when it was fully stock as well.

 

My RCF idles at 500 RPM from time to time. I don't really pay that much attention to the idle but I have noticed it at 500 before when siting at a stop. I never gave it much thought. It idles higher when the car is cold and during warm up.

I will watch it more closely next time I drive.

 

500 is normal for these cars.
