Yes we do. I'm going to Tim's on Blackfoot tonight, some nice cars and pretty tame. You should come, bring the kids.
Only downside to JB is wait time, factory order (Covid) 5 weeks, ugh.
I've got resonator off, thinking of putting back on and removing 2nd Cat, thoughts? Want a deeper rumble with no rasp or drone.

That is nice. I will try to meet at least before the end of the summer. Small kids, wife and work takes up most of my time. I get to drive the RCF only once in a while, but for sure I will try to meet up wtih you in my time off from work during the summer.

I think I saw you in the SW close to the signal hill area in your white RCF. I was my with my wife and kids in the Lexus RX.

I would say, if you want a deeper tone then secondary cats will make it a bit deeper and rasp should be no issue. I have a full catback as you heard last year (Invidia) and I have no secondary cats with it. No drone and no rasp. It sounds amazing. All it has is, bigger exhaust piping, no secondary cats and bigger mufflers than stock. The resonators are "high performance" as well so they are a bit better flowing than OEM. I highly recommend Invidia, but if you want something quick then you can try out removal of secondary cats. Mufflers removed will give a very deep tone, but you might get some drone.

@RCF4DAD Another question, did you order the dry or the wet filter? Thanks.

Dry filter, little maintenance once a year, I don't mind.

Thanks. Looks like everyone on this thread ended up getting the dry one. I am still considering both.

The 1 from JB comes with a dry cone filter.
"This intake uses a large 360 degree high flow Pro DRY S air filter for maximum flow, filtration and convenience. The Pro DRY S air filter requires no oils and cleans with simple soap and water. Takeda intakes come complete with all tubing, filters, couplers and hardware for an easy installation."

They have both advertised on their site. Is that different from what they told you in person?

Check your invoice if they gave you one. Part number is the same with one letter different at the end. If there is a D at the end of the part number then it is dry and if it is R then it is wet.

I took the plunge and ordered the wet stage 2 AFE Takeda cold air intake. Let's see how it goes. I will update this thread with pictures and impressions once I have it on.

When is the part coming in Rolla?

I know the LC guys have removed the device, which pipes in 'intake/exhaust' noise to the cabin - and I might do the same personally. I feel that it sounds superficial but we'll see. I just worked on my buddies LC (installed LED flat bottom CF steering wheel) today and I was looking at his engine bay and was going to bring up on how to eliminate the intake resonated noise for him but forgot during lunch. This thread unfortunately reminded me haha.

It will probably be at the shop in about 2 weeks I think. I ordered it from a shop and they kind of do the container thing I believe from their warehouse.

I will then install it before the end of the month hopefully. LC500 has a different intake design. It has two symmetrical intakes as opposed to one for us. The space in the engine bay is a lot more in the LC500 so Lexus was able to fit two intakes. I will write a review and impressions once I install it. Try to capture some videos of it as well.

Not really. In the "F" cars that empty space on the right side of the intake left room to install a catch can. I bought a catch can kit for my LC and could not find room to install the darn thing I had to return it
