So I'm in the market for a carbon fiber hood, but would like to avoid the use of hood pins as I'm not a huge fan of the look (I essentially want to be able to transfer over the striker/latch from the OEM hood over to the CF hood). Anybody know of any CF hoods that allow this or have their own OEM style latch? I was looking at the Seibon OEM style hood, but their site states that hood pins are required (not sure if that's accurate). Thanks.

I think Seibon makes carbon hoods for the RCF. This channel has that. I believe the weight is not lighter than the OEM aluminum hood because it is not a full carbon construction

Thanks for linking the video, looks like the Seibon hood does have an option to install an OEM-style latch. Need to go track one down now...

I had a Seibon carbon hood on my BRZ and it was excellent quality for the price and it will not save weight but who cares as long as it looks the part.
