ARH mid-pipe. ARH are only available in either the long system (header and mid) or the full system (includes axle back). Since the ARH headers are longs (longer then your conventional headers, they literally run underneath the car from the engine bay for a good measure) you have to get the appropriate ARH mid- pipe already cut to length.

You can choose from cats or no cats, resonator or resonator delete.

Looks good Koni!

so the rear section is oem ?
curious what the sound level will be.
I remember that video ARH put out when the system first came out, that car was super loud. But I think it had their axle back...not positive.

I’m over the super loud cars...
Actually just put my catted PPE midpipe back on yesterday and took off the Mesti straight pipe one.
Was just too loud and raspy. Still searching for that higher pitch noise.
Guess I’ll prolly break down and try the Novel headers...

Looking forward to a sound clip from you.

Also, thoughts on the motor mounts.
what’s your take on the NVH ?

I have PPE EL + Joe Z X pipe with Gesi HO cats and resonator swapped to Vibrant ultra quiet resonator, stock mufflers It produces questionable power but it had a high pitch sound without any rasp.

If you're going for novel hit me up, I have a set that's black cerakoted and hasn't been installed yet. If my RCF TE sells then I'll have no use for these headers

Time is against me, I want the car to sell asap but I wanna put the headers on asap --- decisions decisions....

Shu
Thanks for posting that.
Actually looking for even higher pitch.
May be not achievable....
Think my car sounds about like that now but may be a tad louder. Same cats, same headers with Ti mesti rears.

Yes, the rear is still OEM. Even with OEM axle back still on, it's a high pitch with no rasp. My installer who has pretty much installed tonnes of ppe headers on our lexus platform, his first comment was "no rasp." He was all smiles and really liked the sound, said it was exotic. This was his first install with ARH. 99% of his installs are PPE.

In the car while cruising as you give it some gas the car has a nice rumble at the 2500 to 3500 rpm. The sound seems to come from right underneath you, I imagine since that's where the collectors on the ARH merge. I was trying to figure out why the sound was so familiar then it hit me, ARH headers make our 5.0 liter sound like a 6.2 liter. From the interior the sound has a hint of the AMG 6.2 liter (M159) of old just without the crackles and pops.

At WOT its a very high pitch, when followed with a quick gear shift it gives a sudden whoosh sound.

Torque across the RPM is the game changer, no dead zone like what's experienced while stock. You don't have to wind up the engine into the high RPM's to get it moving. The second you punch it, no hesitation it's quick launch time.

Mind you in addition to the cats I have resonators on.

Happy with the figs, NVH is pretty low. Though I believe due to the headers I need a Tune to smooth out the rougher idle that's occurring while the gear is engaged. It seems to be idling a little lower than before header install

CEL, quick fix right here.

45 degree spacer

Has a mini/baby cat-converter in it.

Before install

After Install. 45 degree was perfect for this application. They come in 45 deg, 90 deg and a straight out one

Dyno sounds before and after installing ARH long tube system (with cats and resonators), OEM axle back still on. Enjoy!
