Was / IS never truly recognized by any USA parts counter database / system. Or sold here officially.
It is very likely not approved nor does it meet US crash safety protocols etc.
The Track Edition is like trying to order LFA parts. They will want to verify ownership.
Also that Part # meets all US safety standards and is a few thousand more dollars.
I have seen at least one or two others that brought over the J Spec hood, way before the TE was even a thought..
As far as I know, the J Spec Hood / part # is still available..
If you followed my suggestion, you should have gotten a parts inquiry quote back by now.

PS - this same methodology applies to the standard aluminum hood.. USA Spec has its own unique part number.

Lexus Global has been known to say: "this part is not homogenized for use in USA market"
I went through this on several occasions when ordering JDM specific LFA parts.
Eventually we got what we wanted, but Lexus USA could not help at all.
The same applies today for the general public Lexus customer.

Unless i get help from someone who owns a Track Edition, I might me **** out of luck. Lexus verifies the vin to owner name and will only do it if the owner places the order themselves. So i'm calling out all Track owner editions in So-Cal. I just need you to place the order, I pay all costs. You only have to show up the day the part is received to pick it up with me. Any takers?

Been thru this before with regard to looking for parts for my RCF when I’m trying to buy parts that are spec’d for markets outside of the United States. Examples are Guam, Hawaii, and the Middle East. Those countries have options the United States can’t order at the time of purchase. In order to buy parts for markets outside of the U.S. I have to provide a vin for the the vehicle that’s spec’d in the market I’m trying to buy the part for. I had to do this with my GSF when I researched and purchased my spare tire setup. A friend I met here on CL who lives in Hawaii gave me his VIN and I was able to order the parts from Servco Lexus in Hawaii and had the parts shipped to me in the U.S. literally the U.S. market can’t order it even tho Hawaii ordered it, had it shipped from Lexus Los Angeles regional parts to Hawaii and back to me. Stupid, I know. With that said, I need help on my next venture, I want to buy a Lexus OEM Carbon Fiber Hood, but I need a vin from the Guam, Hawaii or Middle East market so I can actually purchase it, Lexus Dealers in the U.S. won’t sell it to anyone. I would appreciate the help, thank you in advance. Guam or Hawaii market would be my first choice, less of a distance to ship it.

Contact Lexus of Lehigh Valley at 610-530-6900. They're located in Allentown, PA. The owner had a '15 RCF that I considered buying back in '16 (still regret not getting it). He had an OEM carbon fiber hood that he pulled some strings to get that was not on the car when it was for sale. I was told back then that it was in the basement. It's probably long gone, but might be worth a try.
