I think it's safe to say that the ASC (that's only active in S+ anyway) is pretty mild. Seems to make S+ a little more dramatic: engine seemed slightly louder, shifts sounded crisper. Nothing seems artificial. After unplugging, it sounds the same as S mode. Probably wasn't worth the effort to unplug the speaker, but not worth the effort to plug it back in either.

Thanks so much for the follow up...I was really considering unplugging mine, but now that I did the cat back, I’m sure it drowns it out, and prob not worth the effort.
