I do agree a rear seat delete and possibly Cup 2s instead of P4S would have made this more fun.....and if they also tuned the car to sound more like the LC500. 😈

That launch control was weird though...

The 'Straight Pipe' video hits on the launch control. You have to let the revs stand for a bit otherwise, it bails out of launch control if you release the brake too soon and I believe that is what happened. I honestly think LC500 sounds too "muscle car-ish". I like my Invidia exhaust more than how LC500 sounds, but yeah the stock RCF is all induction and very little exhaust.

It's very easy to engage the launch control on the 2020+ RC F, the problem with it is that the PS4's are not sticky enough to hold and they spin through 1st all the time, even when they're warm. I have that issue all the time which is why I just torque brake it.

The LC 500's active exhaust is how it should sound for every 2UR-GSE powered F. I don't really like the Invidia exhaust because to me it doesn't sound much louder than stock. Most people buy it because of the price point. I prefer the Apex'i N1-X or Meistershaft MUSA for RC F.

I agree on the PS4S. With the SprintBooster, I spin off the line all the time. They are stiffer and more responsive tire to steering input especially with the extra load sidewalls, but they don't grip that well off the line especially if it is not very warm. I think the one good thing about the OEM PSS was, they were stickier off the line due to being softer.

Invidia is definitely louder otherwise, I would not be happy with it. In our last meet, RCF4DAD with stock exhaust and mine with Invidia did a comparison and mine was roughly 15 - 20% louder. It is not nearly as loud as Apexi, MUSA or Armytrix, but it is decently louder than stock. Biggest thing is, I bought it because i felt it had the best in terms of sound quality in my opinion without the valvetronic. I did not want valves due to complexity, vacuum source etc. I absolutely love the tone, pitch, bass and harmonics of it. It sounds exotic-like, higher pitched and melodic. I don't like the "thick/bass heavy", but I am sure majority of the people rave about the LC500 exhaust. That is my own personal taste.

This is my own quick rev video and it is louder than stock aside from having more pitch and volume

The compound on the PS4S are softer and grip better than the Super Sports they replace. I had Super Sports on my IS F when they first came out. They replaced the factory PS2 I had originally. Regular driving and even on the track, the PS2's felt better than the Super Sport.

If I had to rate grip and steering feel:

1) PS4S
2) PS2
3) PSS

Totally agree.
I wanted to replace my worn out PSSs, and I could not find the size of tires I wanted in PSSs or PS4Ss, so I hesitatingly got the PS2s - as they came in the size I was looking for - and surprisingly I'm really happy with them, through they are the oldest model. They do have better grip, better ride and better steering feel than the PSSs.
