Been looking for a new daily driver since trading my x3m40i for the wife's corolla . RCF's V8 really captured the feeling of a sports car while being easy to live with (LA commute and lexus reliability). I am not too concerned with the numbers (our family suv is faster in a straight line...). Found a 2017 w/11k miles nearly perfect inside and out, 2 new tires in the back (PSP only doe). With CarMax 5 yr warranty it came out to around 55k+taxes. Only package that is missing is the CF+TVD, which is pretty much impossible to find (or absurdly overpriced) in Socal. Anyway cheers!
Thanks for the warm welcome! We are in LA, have seen more ferrari/lambo/aston more than RCFs/GSFs by several magnitudes, kinda appreciate having something more rare.
As for the car, a bit bummed about not having the CF roof, but not so much about the TVD since I might track it maybe once every few years. In normal/eco car is actually more compliant than our bimmer which was a pleasant surprise. We kinda accepted the fact that we wouldn't have Car play when we went with a 2017, but that definitely the worst thing by far.
The seats you have are heated/ventilated seats. They're not cooled. They work best when you are running the a/c. Keep it in Auto mode for the best results.
Up north, I've only seen one RC F and one IS F. I've seen anything from a Porsche 918 to an original, bone stock Supra, but these cars are just so rare around here (there again, sports cars in general are). If you do decide to track it, get some good rubber. The stock Super Sports tolerate track duty but they roll over a lot. Rolla might be able to help you if you're gonna look into this sort of thing.
Also, who needs cooled seats when you can have your pants stuck to the seat to the point where you need a prybar to get free!
Congrats! You'll enjoy the v8 as a daily driver or on the track. It's a marvel of an engine. My wife owns an x3 m40i and I like to take it when we're hauling the family around. I just flashed it with BM3 stage 1 and she hasn't noticed yet.

oh also the cooled seats are a joke...
Congrats! Looks great! I live in Norcal, ended up buying my 2017 CF/TVD a little a month ago from Texas because of the absurd pricing locally.
Yea I get ya, was also looking at a 10th anniversary edition, but for 10k more + shipping and buying it sight unseen just didn't feel it was really worth the extra dough and hassle. As much of a Car town as LA, all the cool RCF/GSF seems to be elsewhere .
Congrats! I just got my 2017 uw/red performance package with only 11k miles like yours less than a month ago. I agree performance package and white/red combo is hard to find. I had to buy mine and transport it from Texas! I just got lucky and found their posting before they finished inspection and posting their photos. I wanted the upgraded screen as well but I do not care anymore after driving this car lol. Enjoy it and it’s a blast to drive.
I believe I looked at that rc f when it was in Phoenix. It is in great shape and you found a good one. Is it the black interior?
