Hey all,
Joined the club today after an exhaustive many months search. 2017 / 22.6k miles. Couldn't be happier with it!
May I also add what a pain in the butt it is to find one of these used!!!!!

Congratulations. RC F is hard to find, especially clean ones that are not beat up. It's starting to become scarce like IS F.

Congratulations. Great find. Regarding finding one, tell me about it since I live in an area where there are very few RCFs. Finding the right spec, mileage, condition and in the right price range made it a 10 month journey for me in 2017 before I got one that ticked all of the boxes (except paying more than what I budgeted for, but it was worth it given it was almost brand new)..

p.s. Your screen name has SQL in it. I am a Senior Software Architect myself and PL/SQL work with Oracle especially has been one of my main area of expertise for many years. Cheers!

Yep been doing software development for 20 years, cheers back to you!

Between the dealers that think the car is made of gold when they price them and list 2015's for $60,000, to the fast furious ghetto cruisers with gold aftermarket rims and 97,000 miles, ugh!
My favorite was a 2017 at a nearby dealership with no service history at all and Lion King (sorry Lionhart) tires! Tells me all I need to know about the previous owner...

But she was worth the journey

Likewise, graduated in 2003 from university so worked my way from there. I have always been full-stack, but with big data being so dominant in recent times, PL/SQL, procedures, packages, function, ERD/data modelling, ETL, integrations, data analysis/mining/architecture etc. has been one of my key areas for the last 9 - 10 years.

Enjoy your car. Sport+/manual mode is the best combination to use as it is a jekyll/hyde personality car especially since you have AVS (only stiffens up in sport+)

Are you going to wrap your car? I made XPel deposit already, but haven't decided Ultimate plus(glossy) or Stealth(matte). I may go with stealth and get a matte white.

I'm a SDE too XD, focus on backend Spring related tech stacks.

Oh how funny, I've been doing springboot for about a year now, I really like it.
Us nerds and our RCFs apparently lol.
I'm not sure what if anything I'll get wrapped yet. I love the white as is and I'm in FL so I can keep it nice. Might look into some carbon fiber looking wrap in certain areas, the rear wing for example.
I had wanted a red or grey interior but couldn't check all my boxes so I think I'm going to focus on some interior items first. Lexus boutique has some orange interior pieces that I think will accent with the orange calipers nicely. Go with a white / orange theme.

Sounds like a lot of things to do LOL.
My plan is changing exhaust next year, ark grip and invidia are on my list.

Spring boot is good but webflux is tough. Many companies are using non-blocking server(netty server) these days. You can take a look on that as well, it may become the future(I don't really like it though)

Looks good! It has definitely gotten quite difficult to find a clean used RC F these days. I searched for a pretty long time to find 2017 that had a decent service history. The market being crazy for the last few months has not helped either. Glad you found what you liked, best of luck with your ownership!

Ah my fellow nerds with RC F. I too bought a white RC F 2017 recently. I’m also a senior software engineer, been doing spring boot for 5 years now. Last few years been doing full stack development. Welcome!!!!

9 out of 10 software developers apparently prefer RC-Fs!
The other one is driving a Yugo....

LOL this does look like the attack of the nerds on this forum. Definitely, seems to be some truth to the fact that majority of the RCF owners happen to be nerds.

Pass on that seems too much, I know it’s certified and all. I got mine 2017 $53k white/red 11k miles performance/premium package. At lease try to bring the price down.
