I purchased this to remove the 02 sensor, but the 7/8 inch (22 mm) Deep socket is the only one I needed.

Dude, you'll never notice that dent on the car. Send it and don't worry about it.

I would at lease try to get some credit back. No way I would accept that. You paid the same price as others who got the same product undamaged limited stock or not.

It finally cool down in Phoenix so I installed the exhaust by myself this morning. It took a good 4-5hours lol. I used the invidia gaskets that the exhaust came with and making sure the bigger one goes to the front. The 02 sensors also came out fairly easy and I made sure their wires are not twisted once the new exhaust was in. So far so good. This exhaust sounds amazing and it’s a good balance from not being too loud and too quiet. Now time to go for a drive!

Nice! The exhaust will open up a little bit after you get some miles on it. I've never heard my car from outside of it, but it sounds great from the inside.

Noice that looks really good on white! I am sitll probably going to black out the rear muffler part that you can see in the pictures from the rear shots. I just want focus on the tips.

Post some videos of the sound!

This really does seem like the best bang for an exhaust!

Since I live in California, will the invidia have the same amount of cats as the oem exhaust? We can't even tune our cars anymore without getting flagged so I just wanna make sure the RC F Invidia SS will pass CA star smog

It removes the secondary cats in midpipe. Here in AZ we only have to do obd2 testing. As long we don’t have cel on we pass. Not sure of the process in CA but it shouldn’t be an issue since the exhaust shouldn’t cause cel.

what are the chances of the car getting cel if it's not installed correctly?

So is the 02 sensor going bad oem? Or just the one that came with the invidia?

I will be looking for a reputable shop to install it.

But I'll be hesitant if the shop could damage the o2 and not sure if it's a expensive replace and repair

Sorry I don't know much about RC F's so far, I just bought my car and honestly wasn't expecting to buy it this soon

The cel is caused by exhaust leak where the midpipe connect to the headers pipe. It’s likely because the wrong gasket is used and the 02 wires are badly twisted during install. Make sure you use the bigger gasket provided by invidia and don’t twist the 02 sensor wires and you should be ok based on my research on this exhaust.

ahhh I see. I know the probability is low but Since I'm going to a shop, if they do twist the 02 wiring too much and needs replacement. Is that an expensive fix?
I still need to know if the Invidia passes smog fine.

I put the Lexus IS F X Force exhaust on my Lexus RC F. I took it to an experienced welder. All in it costed me $1,500 for a clean sounding loud when you want it to be exhaust. It sounds like the LC 500 but about 40% louder. Would recommend. Sounds crispy. I’ve driven the LC 500 before for two hours+ btw

Is that from your previous Lexus ISF or you bought a brand new one? For people curious, the $1500 cost includes the exhaust itself or just the welding/modifications only?

I had a 2010 IS F with it on. The brand is X Force. I just took it off and had the welder cut and weld it to fit my RC F. He welded the stock tips onto the new piping as well. Looks OEM. It was $1,500 total. $900 for the exhaust and $600 for labor. If I want to make it quieter he also made it so I can bolt the X Force mufflers back on.
