AC Compressor Leak

Hi Guys,
Every time I take the car out of storage when spring comes around, I try out the AC and it blows hot. I took it to the dealer 3 years ago as the car was under warranty and they said they changed a valve, filled up the system and it was good for that whole season. Last year, same thing but this time it was out of pocket, and they didn't charge me for the refill. This year, they said that there is a TSB for some AC components that they'll do, but the main problem they found was that the compressor is leaking. It's an approximate 2K repair, but I'm only paying about $1,100 after all is said and done.
Have any of you experienced any AC issues? I find it strange that a 2015 Lexus has this issue so soon....

Do you happen to have a copy of the TSB?

The TSB has to do with the servos that control various flaps inside the heater box. It is a known issue and covers many Lexus models.

A leaking A/C compressor is an extremely rare thing on these cars. Sounds like you just got a dud. I’d push back on them saying it was probably leaking all this time and the fact the warranty is over shouldn’t be on you.

An AC compressor has nothing to do with the servo motors. It's not really worth replacing the servo motors if they are not broken (it would appear as though servo motors break for some, but then don't for others) and get the AC compressor replaced. There are such things as defective units, y'know!
