Default Front Lexus RC F badge

Thinking of removing the front emblem on my 2019 RC F, and replacing with the RR racing carbon emblem. The instructional video seems really easy, but the car they use obviously doesn't have the pre collision sensor system behind it. Has anyone done this to an RC F with the sensor? Looking for pictures, and installation help. Thanks!

I have a 2019 also. I was wondering the same thing so I had a good look. It seems we have to lose the sensor and related features.

Yes, I think the 15-16 RC F had a different collision sensor setup than the 17 to present RC F. Had anyone removed the pre collision equipment? I honestly can't stand it anyway.

I'm not saying it doesn't work in a real emergency, but the only time mine has ever gone off is false alarms.
Not sure what it thought it was seeing.

It is easily disabled if you ever want to.

There is a button by the knee panel just underneath close to the TPMS reset button that will disable only the PCS.

But can you remove the whole radar system under the hood so the badge can be replaced?

I would say yes you can but you will get a constant warning on the dash about the PCS being disabled and the light for it will continue to flash.

don’t forget it is a safety device, and in the event of an accident you can be sure your insurance will deny you if it is missing. Mind you if the entire front is smashed how would they know. Lol

Sup y’all I have a 19’ rcf and I have removed the oem badge with the Rr racing f badge with the pre collision sensor behind It, I have seemed to have no problems and it’s been about a good week since installation, basically take at your own risk situation.
