10th Anniversary Edition Interior Parts into 2020 RCF
Hello everyone!
I was thinking about buying some 10th Anniversary Edition interior parts and putting them into my 2020 RCF, would anyone know if there would be any issues?
I just want a somewhat blue interior to go with my blue exterior, I wish Lexus made that a color option by default!

There's a center console difference but I'm not sure it affects anything. Pre 2020 the radio unit kind of spills out over the console side trim whereas after 2020 and newer it seems tucked under it.
Not sure if the trim part is any different though, maybe they just changed the radio itself to fit inside the trim now:

^^ Lexus does weird stuff. Totally agree with both actually. The blue steering wheel/airbag looks tacky AF to me, but then when you look at the back seats and they were kept all black, makes you wonder why didn't they carry the theme of the front seats to the back. If nothing else just a simple blue or white stripe could have made it look so much better! Not sure on their end who actually signs off or makes decisions, you think the question of "what are we doing to the back seats" would have come up...lol

I could only imagine it had to do with the cost margin or something stupid like that. My first Lexus was a 2015 RC350 F Sport. I searched all over for it as I wanted the white color w/ the light grey interior. I really liked that color combo. At least Lexus has given several interior color options. The initial red interior in the RC models was too much for me. Other like the red and that's cool. I've seen some pics of seats from newer RCF's that have accent colors. I thought those added a nice touch.
Luckily with my 2020 it had the white interior which is exactly what I wanted. I'd never choose an all black interior because it's too plain and boring, and I would have liked the red accented interior as well but after looking at it now, I really am glad I got the white accented interior. It's so unique looking. Everyone that looks inside loves it.
Definitely a nice place to be!
I keep watching RCFGrandpa's thread on his JDM orange interior.. I can't wait until it's finished! It's how the cars should have been able to be optioned out here in the states. I get the price thing but at least give the consumer the option to upgrade/buy..etc. Or just do the Porsche thing and a la carte by adding things.
