Default Picked up my 2019 RC F 10th anniversary last week

I flew up to Missouri late last week and picked up my RC F with 582 miles on it. To say it was still like brand new is an understatement. I love everything about the car. This is an upgrade from my 2015 RC350 FSport. Lets just say it was a shock when I saw the paint care manual for that special matt grey paint.

Congratulations. You should post some pictures. Although, you are breaking it in, but you drive it in SPORT+/MANUAL mode and TVD in slalom mode. That is the best combination.

Is that a used car or a demo? Odd to have such low mileage.

And...the rest of the story. The guy who bought the car, did so without telling his wife. Then he rented a self storage unit to park the car since he couldn't take it home. He drove it on days when he was not around his wife. he did this for 2 years. He has a nephew that owns the dealership where I bought the car. He called his nephew and told him he needed to sell the car before his wife found out. The nephew bought the car from him for X and agreed that the car owner had final say on what the dealer sold it for. They had an agreement between them for whatever the difference ends up. I made my offer and the original owner agreed.

Hahah...that is too funny! What a story. . He basically never broke-in the car and never redlined it while hiding it from his wife.

Cant say how he drove it. It was flawless inside and out and the tires looked brand new. Everything was so nice that I couldn't pass it up

Sounds like a completely healthy marriage.

Worked out for you, anyways!

LOL... I had the same thought. I was more shocked that my own wife told me I make all the money in the household and we can afford it so why not get it. I still wonder this person is pretending to be my wife and where my real wife is? XD

LOL...don't redline it till you hit 1000 miles. Let the car break in. Some people believe in "hard break-in", but I am not convinced.

I am the same way with all of my vehicles. I was the same way with all of my sport bikes. no redline until after 1K miles and the 1K service done. My cars are treated the same way. I drove the car home to central Texas from Missouri (900 miles). Break in time done!

Nice. Go to SPORT+/MANUAL mode with TVD in slalom mode. It is the go-to mode to use for spirited driving.

This is the greatest purchase story every, thanks for the tea! My wife jumps at the chance to take my RCF for a spin if I'm using her truck. I feel bad for guys that don't trust their wives to drive or have to hide stuff from their lady. Sounds like you got a good one also!
