I have AFE power SprintBooster v3. It is only $300 and it is totally worth it. Gives you so much more initial thrust when you want to get the car moving quickly. It does not add any power, but it changes throttle/torque mapping "front loading" so much of the power in the first half of the throttle movement depending on what mode you select (red or green level 1 to 9). They simply have not updated their site with all model years but all of the RCF years can fit the same hardware so your 2020+ RCF will take the same harness that comes with the SprintBooster.

You can do lightweight anti-gravity battery. It does not gain you any power, but it gives the car a ridiculously fast engine start and shaves off around 30 lbs of weight. I got the smaller 12.8 lbs 24 Ah battery and I weighed the OEM battery and then the AG battery. The weight loss was around 27 lbs. You can go even lighter with the RR racing one, which is only 6 lbs.

Also, they are expensive, but they are supposed to last up to 10 years and also have built in battery management system to ensure the battery does not drain. Also, they come with restart feature and two keyfobs.

This is the one I got in 24 Ah and it works perfectly.

So just to clarify, I could buy a sprintbooster v3 for an older year (2015-2019) and itd still work?

Yes, as long as you buy the one specific for the RCF, it should work on all model years. You can check out this thread for discussion and installation of SprintBooster as well as review. For SprintBooster specific discussion, read from post #44 onwards.

You need really sticky tires as in the more aggressive modes like race mode (red) level 5 or 6, it gives hellacious starts with sticky tires. I never tried level 8 or level 9 because it is way too much already at level 5. Otherwise, you will spin for a bit.
