Default Warm air through vents

Sorry if I opened previously addressed issue in a different thread.
Problem: When turning on the fan and temperature lowered even to minimum I get warm air. A/C works perfectly.
In SoCal it is warm to hot these days but that shouldn't interfere that much with blowing warm air! I heard that the RC F engines runs hot but would that influence the air temp. coming out of the vents.
My RC F is still has less than 7,000 miles on the clock.
Thanks for any advice.

So just so I understand the question, a/c off, temp set to low, should be blowing ambient temp air, but you're saying it feels warm? And auto with a/c on blows set temp?

Just leave the a/c on. Auto at 72 and let the car figure out how to get it there and hold it.

The vent intake is behind the battery and pretty much pulls engine bay air when open. With windows down and system off it'll draw in hot air, closing the vent to recirc helps. Or just run the a/c.

Yes, you understand right. I wonder is this the way it's supposed to work? so no matter what, vent will blow warm air! Is that what you experience?
Thanks for the quick reply..

yeah, if it's warmer than like 50 I leave the a/c on. Otherwise it gets stuffy. My old G35 was the same way.

I actually noticed that too. But luckily for me, its cooler up here in NorCal so I just let the warm air in through the vents, crack the windows open to let it out, no AC needed.

That's somewhat reassuring. Thanks
The top engine vent in my car is still closed, I wonder if it helps to open it? This leads me to the next question, if it's open where would the rain water pours in the engine? On the contrary if the vent remain closed would the water pools if it rains or being washed?

Heard from couple of reviews that the engine runs hot at normal conditions, in fact engine temp. indicator always in the middle where other cars engine temp. indicator is less than middle.

Took that cover off and haven't thought about it in 2 years. Driven in all conditions and haven't had a wet engine. Removing that cover gives you a functional vent.
