2022 RCF Fuji edition in the flesh + pics
I currently visited the Lexus showroom to inquire about the IS500, and to my surprise i saw the RCF Fuji edition in the stunning electric surge colour, it blends perfectly with the carbon and really sticks out. My question is are when the say limited to 60 units do they mean world wide or North America? And per my understanding there should be a serialized plaque near the window control united, but this car had no serial number, is there a way i can possibly find out the serial of the cars production, for example 20/60 etc.

Joez posted picture of the plaque. Maybe, you are not looking in the right place?

It says "limited to 50" in the press release so it must be 50 globally since it does not mention otherwise.

Considering the Lexus badge on the trunk, I'm guessing you're not in the U.S.? Maybe the plaque is an American car thing?

That is the first place i looked amongst other places no trace of the plaque which made me think that the 50 units is North America but car is available in larger numbers outside the US

meh... not too excited about the color and the mark up I've seen on them is just insulting... I can't remember if it was here or on FB but someone posted one going for ~$140k 🤦♂️

I had deposits at a few places during the first run of the 2020 TE and all Cali dealers after agreeing to msrp added $50k+ to the price. I purchase one in the Seattle area @ $2500 under msrp.
Most marked up cars sat for a year or so and I am sure most sold at or under msrp.

Ditto on not feeling the color seeing it now in several threads. I thought it was going to be really nice from the Lexus pictures but now seeing it (could be different in person), I'm not feeling it. I think it's too dark. It's like a version of USB but not done right. (and USB is beautiful in person) Just looks like a bad wrap job to me. The matte white and gray are really nice looking. I feel they could have gone with a lighter color and it would have looked nicer., even if they did the shade of blue that they are using in the fuji which is considerably lighter color would have looked pretty good.
As far as markup is concerned, I think the dealers that are marking it up are going to be sitting on it for a while until they realize that someone that is going to spend $145k+ on a vehicle is looking at a Porsche instead of a boy racer look Lexus. When I bought mine last year the dealer also had a track edition and it was $105k. No markup or anything of that nature. Even now looking on auto trader you can get track editions in the high 80's with not much milage at all. I don't think this is the type of car that is going ot hold value. That's not a diss on it. I love our cars. I just feel like Lexus has priced the vehicle to a point that most people aren't going to consider it when shopping other performance brands.

I did a quick search. A few dealers are listing above MSRP. Most are asking for MSRP....

the number badging wasn't offered in the 2020 track edition or the 2021 fuji spdwy edition. the vin does not tell you the fuji build number unfortunately.

Globally, the car is still an RC F Track Edition, it's only renamed Fuji Speedway Edition in the USA. The early idea was to rename the RC F Track Edition to a new race track that it was developed at.
