Default So many RC-Fs for sale

I found this really interesting, but I have no idea what it indicates. Could just be coincidence or whatever, but Carvana has 13 RC-Fs for sale right now.
Almost a year ago when I was shopping for mine, you'd be lucky if they had 1 and CarMax was the same, they'd have 1 maybe 2 available in the whole USA.
Might have gone up or down a car or two but never seen this many for sale at once before:

Average prices definitely went up more a few grand in the last few months. That is probably why. That lower mileage 27K miles 2015 RCF carbon/TVD USB 2.0 asking price is $55K. Another 2015 with 23K miles and standard package/LSD is $54K. The ones that are close to $50K are all 45K+ miles.

yeah basically now is the time to sell if you want to sell since the prices are soaring due to the shortage of new vehicles everywhere. Most people will try to sell now so they can make a quick buck... and then you got dealerships sending me letters to go trade mine in for some rip off amount... they offered me $8k equity on my RCF which basically puts them at buying it for about $36k and the best part of it is that the trade in would be for a used 2019 GS350... are they on crack?!??! first, my RCF won't go anywhere for less than $47-48k and second, why would I want to get a used 2019 GS350 when I already have a 2020 GS350 Black Line Edition that I got from them 🤦‍♂️ they are desperate 🙄

Market is insane right, Based on the local pricing research, my RCF with 10K miles is worth about the same right now than it was when I bought it mildly used in 2017 with 8K miles so I have not lost any money so far on it (obviously, that excludes the $7000 CAD so far I put into mods/changes into the car).

It is out of control. I typically see my year / mileage for selling for 10k more than I paid for mine a year ago.

Yeah the market is awesome right now for selling... buying, not so much lol... I've considered letting go of my GS350 Black Line just because they have offered me $60k for it but the problem then is buying another car and getting hit with all these markups and that's if I can even find something

If you are going to sell now is the time. I cant really call the market right now. I see the massive supply chain issues and the demand and think maybe everything will be ok with hard assets like homes. Then I really look at it and think it could lead to a massive deflationary collapse. I am betting that things will get really ugly soon in terms of markets. Who knows, but it seems way to spun up to support current trends. But, never ever bet against the central banks.

We live in exciting times for better or worse. Plus, your depreciating asset is going up in value.

Everything is up so selling won’t make you any real cash unless you dont need to replace the car with anything else comparable.

No surprise here, the market is so good for sellers right now. Gotta say it puts a smile on my face seeing F’s sell for what they’re selling for. It’s so crazy. The interesting thing will be were these prices land after this is all over, I have a feeling that some cars are going to be a bit more expensive than pre pandemic. I feel bad for people financing cars that definitely are not worth what they are during these times, people are going to be so underwater it’s not even funny.

Even funnier is that I keep being contacted by Lexus to trade my car because “I may be eligible for up to 3x,xxx for my car”, I always think to myself bwhahahhah, what lol. Um no, add another 15-20k please and thank you, I look at the kbb, nada values almost every week.

Market is ridiculous. Makes me feel good being able to get my 17’ fully loaded with 11k mikes for $53k before it got crazy April of last year.

Makes sense, Carvana is offering a hefty premium for anything in the 35k and under mileage range. The RCF Owners Facebook group has a lot of people "caving" to offers of mid to high $40s for their 2015 model cars. Mine has 69k miles on it now, so they've 'only' offered me $36k. Which, considering I paid $42k and put 46,000 miles on it in a little over 2 years, is still pretty good but not enough to tempt me to sell it. I did pick up a daily so could cash out now while it's good, but I don't want to wait 2 years for things to settle down to buy another fun car.

Crazy time, but can understand why people have begun listing.

But I only got mine in march 2021: (2015, 25k miles for $44k including installed Invidia exhaust) tempting for sure, but think mine is going to be a long haul vehicle I plan to keep for many many years!

Love everything about the car, put 5k miles on it already!

I was looking for my 2019 RCF 10th anniversary edition ( I wanted only that one) a few months ago. I found 6 or so that all had been in accidents and were in the 60K range. I foudn one in Detroit that had 1200 miles on it 68,900. It got sold a few hours later before I put a deposit down. I found mine with 582 miles and paid 70K OTD. It was exactly what i wanted and like brand new. I love it so much!

It’s crazy how expensive used RC-F’s are now. I really regret not buying one of the cheap CPO RC-F my dealership had in late 2019. They’d be worth $10,000+ more than I would’ve paid.

Which wouldn’t do me any good because the only way I’d sell an RC-F would be to buy an LC500 and those are really high now too.
