Default Setting keeps resetting itself

I’ve been in the garage getting used to all the features of my new to me RC F. As soon as I started playing with the infotainment, I decided I didn’t really like the haptic feedback, so, no problem, I found the setting and turned it off. I also turned down the feedback sound and changed the speed of the cursor… Great. Except twice now, the haptic feedback has come back. All the other settings are saved and do not revert but I’ve had to turn off the haptic feedback 3 times and that’s just today. Am I missing something? Anyone else have this problem?

No idea why it would do that. I think I might have changed the haptic feedback one a long time ago, but I don't remember if it reverted back or not. Did you check the manual?

I have a similar issue with the clock in the center console. No matter how many times I set it correctly, the next time I get in it, it's not correct. I want to rip it out.

Perhaps your RCF is time traveling.

LOL, that would be great! I could enjoy it forever.

I think I figured out what it’s doing. I have the haptic turned off, but when I’m driving it’s there. In park it disappears again. Perhaps it’s a safety thing to reduce looking at the screen although it’s actually a distraction for me. Can anyone else confirm if this is what your car does as well. I’m just trying to make sure I don’t have a weird glitch. 2020 RC F if that maters

Nope…. That’s not it. The haptic is just sometimes there and most of the time not there now. No idea what’s going on and seemingly no other glitches. Oh well…. Not a big deal.
