Nigel,
I found it on eBay. It was a little sketch because there was only stock photos and the seller only had 1 available.
They were asking 350 but I clicked the make an offer button and they accepted my offer of 250.
I thought I was taking a pretty good chance it would never come or it would be some crappy Chinese knockoff because these were a dealer only promo item that seemed to have disappeared years ago. To my surprise it just came in the mail and is, apparently, the real deal. It’s very heavy, made of a nice material and the print on it is high res. The photos were very grainy so I couldn’t tell if it was real in the photos but I took the chance.
The seller was selling a LFA factory Lexus battery tender and the seller posted another one of these covers after I bought this one so I think the seller is a dealership or someone who has a stash of dealer promo items and is selling them on eBay to make some cash. Seller was f1r0310
it might be worth messaging the seller.
The car is in storage at a hanger so I’m waiting for the hanger owner to meet me so I can put it on. It’s too large to really inspect it not on the car. I’m exited to see how it looks but I think it’s going to be really cool. I’ll try and take some photos but if I can’t I’ll at least pop it on during the spring and get some good photos for you all. I couldn’t even find more than a handful of pictures on Google. No good photos that show how nice it really is.
Found two pictures of the car cover in the picture thread archives from owner @Sit !
I've never see it on the car. Hopefully this helps people :-)
I really wanted this cover but now feel like it wouldn't be a good fit for my 2020 face lifted one. Just doesn't look the part. But looks great on the pre-face lift ones!
Here is mine under the cover.....the front doesnt stretch enough to hold, but I also have 60mm wing risers in the rear that may be taking up some of that slack.....I like the look of this cover, but I still prefer my custom Covercraft cover that I purchased about 3yrs ago. It does FIT much better than this one, but hard to argue the rarity of this one.....

Which covercraft do you have? I have the formfit on my STi and like how it fits. It's nice. I was thinking of getting the coverking for the RCF. Mainly due to other color options and it seems slightly thicker than the covercraft formfit. But I think BOTH manufactures at the $400 price point make a really nice car cover. Do you have pics of the covercraft by chance on the RCF?

Yes, and sorry.....it is Covercraft "CoverKing"......It fits much nicer and also much thicker and softer.....but it is an "indoor" cover only.

Yea that's the Coverking Satin fit! That's the one I am going to buy now. I'm trying to figure out what color or two tone to get like yours. I'm not a blue fan but I really like yours! Is that black with grabber blue or is it dark blue? I like that the blue color looks very similar to the F blue that lexus uses around the badges..etc.

Black with "grabber" blue. I ONLY went with blue as my car is UltraSonic Blue Pearl. Yes satin fit, basically fleece on the underside. I paid about $270's for it. Took about 3 weeks from order to delivery as they are made to order.
I have had this one over 3 years now and it is sooo easy to fold-roll up to put away or to put back on! Has very good "weight" to it too!

Awesome thank you!
I just ordered the same color combo. I thought the black/gray might be nice or even red but gray is sorta plain... and there is nothing red on my car. My STi alreaday has a red cover so figured I'd change it up. My triumph motorcycle cover is all royal plus so we got different colors going on in the garage. Figure the grabber blue is as close to the blue highlight on the emblems as it's gonna get. Ordered it form autoanything and they are currently having a sale so I got it for about $300. I also ordered a bag for it. Lead time is about 3-4 weeks according to the email which is fine.
Excited about the cover! Next step is revamping my pressure washer setup and wall mounting it. Should make washing cars much easier/more fun!
