I was in my new IS 500, saw this gorgeous RCF with an exhaust note that was addictive as crack. We had a little fun. Just posting in the outside chance that the car's owner is on this forum. Would love to get details on the exhaust and mods, get to know a local enthusiast.

Cool story. How would you describe the sound? There are only 3 or 4 popular exhausts that 99% of the RCF owners get so it should not be that hard to figure out.

Hmm, that's a tough one. Didn't sound too different from my stock exhaust, was a little louder, throaty, "brappy", some off-throttle popping. Mufflers were standard metal color with the stacked/staggered dual outlets on each side. The matte paint job was also very nice.

Hmmm...were the tips oval or round? Stacked tips/staggered seems to indicate either Invidia or Novel (highly unlikely because it is very rare due to its cost) or Toms (round tips, but staggered and stacked. It is also very rare due to the same reasons as Novel).

I don't remember oval or round. We were going at highway speed. Thinking about it, I could convince myself either round or oval. There aren't a lot or RCFs, especially ones with that look. Hopefully the or someone who knows the owner comes here and can fill me in.
