How Long Have You Owned Your RCF?
#16
Past ISF Owner
Purchased my 2015 in November of 2016 with 8700 miles on it.....it was completely stock at the time. Did not last that way for long. Still own it to this day.....had an ISF before in USB. RCF now has 51K miles on it..... If you don't look back at your car after you have parked it, you bought the wrong car!!!
My old 2008 ISF

I have had mine since April 2015. I got into an RCF without knowing it even existed. My purchase was spontaneous. One late evening getting out of work I turned on my AMG and it started making the dreaded power steering pump whine. For those unfamiliar with this car the power steering pump not only runs your power steering but the entire hydraulic suspension. The car had been a huge money pit and I just about had enough of it. I did a quick search for a dealership nearest me while I sat at the parking lot and found Lexus dealership within 2 miles of me. Drove over there eager to unload the "money-pit AMG".
My criteria was simple, wanted a coupe and it be sporty. The finance department was wrapping up the papers on a black on black when I decided to take a stroll and came across a white RCF with red interior hidden away in an odd section of the show room and I just had to have the red interior. Told them to scrap the black on black RCF and at 12 midnight I left with my new Lexus RCF. Have 89K miles on odometer now and haven't had to spend money on any repairs other than maintenance and mods . With zero research going in this turned to be one of my all time best purchases.

While looking at a new RC f-sport with the salesperson in the dealership parking lot, the salesperson and I were talking about how I like "sporty" cars, and the past ones I have owned. He then said, you should take a look at this used RCF we just got in two days ago, Well.... after taking a test ride in that RCF, the RC f-sport was just a thought put in the past never to be returned!
In Feb 2018, bought that 2015 on the lot. Never owned a car for more than three years in 50 years of ownerships, but still own this one!

I got my F in 2018, have had it almost 4 years, I really love this car. I flew out to Texas and drove it home to Maryland over 2 days. 2 separate hotels those 2 nights in which I practically parked the car in front of the window and slept with the curtain cracked so that I could stare at the car. That ride home and that entire experience was insanely cool and I hope to do it again soon.

i had a 17 liquid platinum for 1.5yrs and just finished most of my exterior and suspension mods...then one day at lexus i was shopping for parts and saw blondie (21 fuji edition) on the showroom floor begging me to take it home. purchased nov 2020 so about 1yr 2mo and it has 10,500+ miles. it's just a number. sold the 17 shortly after...i put on 13,000 miles. fun car so not my daily.

Bought my 2020 new back in November of 2020. Never owned a Lexus or an F car prior. I'd probably never have bought a Lexus had my wife not bought her NX prior. Never thought I'd spend that much on a vehicle honestly.
I've put 308 miles on it in a year and a half..lol. I'll drive it more, but just have too many other vehicles that we own, so a lot of time it just looks good in the garage next to the STi. ;-p It is a very very comfortable car though. I told myself I wouldn't mod it until I paid it off, so that was really the driving factor of me not driving it as much I think, but after 6 months of owning it, I paid it off then put on an exhaust and did some minor things, so in all extensive purposes it's done (still debating certain cf pieces).
I'm upgrading my pressure washer setup and will be mounting my reel/PW and what not on the garage wall and hopefully piping in hot/cold water so actually washing the cars should be a much easier/enjoyable experience. I think that's one of the reason I don't drive certain cars as much because when they go back in the garage I want them to be clean.

I bought my RCF in spring of 2018. It was a lease return with 17k miles. The car has been a real good runner. I am surprised by how much I like the car. It does everything right for me.
I am going to daily the car this year as I gave my Tacoma to my son and my Ford F150 to my daughter this week. That leaves me with the RCF. I can also borrow the wifes Mazda if needed. I ordered a Modern spare for it a few months ago and it came this week . I put it into the trunk and feel good having a spare, now that it will be on the road more. My biggest concern as a daily is idiots giving me door dents in parking lots...
