7 years ago today my special ordered 2015 Molten Pearl RCF arrived at Lexus of Seattle. I took delivery the next day, 1/28/2015, because they had to do the PDI on it. Still very happy with my decision. Odometer as of today is 11,181. So how long have you had your RCF and are you still happy with your decision? My salesperson took this photo for me as soon as my RCF arrived at the Lexus dealership.
Purchased mine in October of 2017 in a private purchase from a former member on this board (Rage2) with 8000 miles on it (coincidence since I shopped around on AutoTrader). That makes it 4 years and 4 months.
Was about to buy an E90 M3 sedan 6 speed manual with competition package earlier that year since I wanted a high-rev V8, but could not get the RCF out of my head so decided to take the extra $20K dent and two less doors.
This is the very first picture bone stock I took when I drove it home on October 26th, 2017
Owned mine since September last year. Bought new in Sacramento-about 90 miles from my home in Benicia. Bought it after deal fell through on a MBZ E450 4matic cabriolet which I had ordered in Jan 2021, but in Sept they said they would not build them again until June 2022 or later. RC F was sorta impulse. Convinced wife to go with me to dealership near home to look at a LC 500 convertible. I didn't like how low it was to the ground and I further didn't like that you can't use the remote to open the top (which is one of the features I liked on the MBZ). In the showroom was a red RC 300 that was already sold and both of us liked the styling and could tolerate the seat height (getting in and out of a low car is hard on old people), so we test drove a RC Fsport in white. It was OK, but didn't want a white car again. After looking around I found a couple Fsports in Sacramento in Blue and Red, but also saw the RC F in white with Carbon roof. Did some research and have always wanted a V8 but never had one in my 70 years...test drove it and bought it same day. Has about 700 miles on it now. Changed out the squeaky brake pads and now enjoy the car a lot. Yah, another white car, but I think of it as a stealth racer...looks normal, but isn't; and the white has blue sparkles in the sun--which is sorta different.
Bought mine April of last year and I'm still happy to this day that I finally decided to buy one after going back forth for a few years if I needed it. I work from home so I rarely drive it but I find every reason to drive it when running some errands. Currently sitting with 14k miles 2017 perf package.
89 days, 3 hours and 42 minutes! Always wanted one since I had my RC350. After test driving it, I was addicted to it and just wanted more! Lucky that it came with the performance package, I like seeing the carbon fiber front lip, rocker panel, roof and spoiler. And yes, still happy with my decision! Only regret is not getting it sooner!
Got mine in November of 2015, still loving each and every minute of driving it. It has just over 15K miles now (spring/summer car here in WA ) Probably just like yours, @RCFGrandpa
Hi! Bought mine mid March almost two years ago. 2015 with 58k kilometres, now 73k kilometres and quite a few changes, and more to come. Feel free to follow on IG @lexus_rcf_rx
Bought mine April 2019 with 29k miles on it. As of today it sits at 93,832 miles. I don’t regret the purchase at all. Has been a great daily driver and a even better road trip car. I still get tons of people staring at the car and a lot thumbs up when people hear the Equal Length Headers and Invidia exhaust combination.
You just wanted to flex on all of us that you got your car when they first came out, didn't you?
I got mine Oct 2019 with 23,000 miles on it. Has 69k on it now and I've been loving it. Was actually shopping for a Q60 red sport at the time, but the RCF just jumped out at me, think I made the right call. Backroad blasts, and holding its own over several track days, nothing but good times.
Used car prices have gone full potato and it's actually worth exactly what I paid for it 45k miles ago, but I'm going to keep it for the long haul. Picked up a nice daily driver recently, so now the F can be dedicated to smiles per gallon.
Purchased May of last year with 22k miles, now has 26k miles. Still brings a big smile to my face when I drive it (which is daily).
Here she is getting the proper rims installed the day after purchase (Came with the 7 spokes originally).
One year anniversary was a few weeks ago. Always brings a smile to my face! I have loved owning it and driving it every day, bought it with 32k miles on it and I am just about at 42k now. I could not be more pleased.
Purchased my 2015 in November of 2016 with 8700 miles on it.....it was completely stock at the time. Did not last that way for long. Still own it to this day.....had an ISF before in USB. RCF now has 51K miles on it..... If you don't look back at your car after you have parked it, you bought the wrong car!!!
