Default Which header to go with?

Hello all, I am looking into headers for my rcf, originally wanted novel, but price is a factor but more over the waiting time is way too long, so now I am confused on which ones to go with, my planned setup is to keep my oem axel back I upgraded my midpipe already. My goal is to get an even deeper richer sound, I liked how exotic the novel sounds, what is the closest sounding header to novel?

I honestly would go with PPE EL Headers. Proven gains, sounds amazing (almost as good as Novel) and way cheaper. American Race Headers is another good option that customers seem to be happy with.

I went with novel, there is no comparison

All the others TO ME sound like mustangs and camaros

I could only get the JDM style sound out with novel style headers

that's the best setup and my number one setup, but thing is the wait time is too long and unknown even. Contacted a vendor about them was told wait time is unknown and they are no longer taking new orders on them until they forfill other customers orders that have been waiting. I know good things come to those who wait, but I know what 2 to 3 months means when ordering parts from Japan, turns to 6 to 8 months which is also a bummer, love the novel but not realistic now seeing the uncertainty in ETA, that's why I am looking for something similar or close to novel.

Not really. UEL PPE headers do have a lumpy Detroit V8 sound. Some folks like that. However the EL PPE header does not, it has a more exotic sound IMO.

Note: I have had both styles, and the Dyno says they are about the same on power increases. However, as I posted, PPE UEL an EL have different sound characteristics and appeal to different folks. Me - I have and like the EL.

I had them on my ISF - Final configuration was EL with PPE dual mode exhaust. My LC is configured the same way.

Here is a video of PPE EL Headers on RCF. You can draw your own conclusions as far as sound quality goes (it has Invidia full exhaust as well).

I am going against the grain of a lot of people. But the Novel is not worth the price.

I get it....Novel sounds good, and looks good as well. However, it actually yields less gains than a PPE EL header. That just doesn't make sense to ME.

IMHO - PPE EL is the best of both worlds (sound and performance). UEL is bang for your buck if you prefer the sound.
