Some current pricing
#16
Most of the expensive especially performance cars are kept by people for a few years. People really want to mostly drive point A to B and most of the things RCF has, are overkill for the street such, as those big brakes, suspension etc. The maintenance cost for tires and brakes is according to their function. For example, brakes cost $3500 to replace etc. That is why, having 2 - 3 owners is very typical for such cars.
Regarding Carvana with 2 RCFs in mid-40s, you have to look at the mileage, option packages, maintenance history, accident history etc. to make a determination if they are a good deal. Based on what I see, usually the mid-40 RCFs have some "baggage" attached to it. Much rather spend more and get the right one. You would be much happier. That is what I did. I bought a 8000 miles one with a carbon/TVD package. Was much higher than what I budgeted for, but it was almost brand new. Very happy spending $5000 - $6000 more than what I initially set money aside for, but now the car is worth significantly more than it was when I purchased it.
You can see here on autotrader. Even the 2015-2016 with low mileage and really good condition/history are in the 50s.

I agree with the history of the vehicles and the baggage that some with lower price may come with. I know not everything gets reported on Carfax either and, of course, that's always a gamble buying used. It's very tempting when I see right priced RCFs but I am with you when you say I will be much happier when I wait for the right one. I look everyday on a handful of sites multiple times a day lol is that sad? I'm in my mid-30s and have been driving my Tacoma since 09..I'm ready to retire that truck and make a RCF my daily. After driving one for a week from Carvana I am ready for it for sure. I'll be sure to post in this thread when I finally get one, whenever that may be

What I've noticed recently is that whatever algorithm they use for value doesn't know how to price these things correctly. Like it seems like performance package cars (carbon roof and spoiler + TVD) are priced lower than normal premium package cars, why? because they don't have a sunroof.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this is a members (former) RCF. Looks like it lived mainly in Florida. Not feeling the tinted reverse/signal lights. Looks to be wrapped so I can peel it off.
*EDIT*
Forgot to mention 2015 with 49k miles. 51k miles now since it was driven halfway across the states.

Plans I have for it so far is in this order:
1) Front/side splitters
2) Invdia Q300 catback exhaust
3) Toms rear diffuser
4) Possibly black wheels (or wheel spacers to make it flush with fender). Not sure which wheels yet, which is why it's on the bottom of my list.

Thanks guys! I'll be removing the reverse/signal light tint for sure once it warms up. I got it for a little under $50K, which in todays market is a fair price I feel like. Carfax and carcheck (?) didn't show any damage. Lexus Drivers website shows regular maintenance for the most part.

Nice, You can check out my modifications thread below to read views of people rating their own mods and explaining what is good about it. You might want to check your tires and see how much tread you have left on them. In one of the pictures, it seemed like the rear of your car has a lot of camber. Maybe, it is just the picture, but definitely get the alignment checked (if it had not been done at the place you purchased it from). Cheers!

**EDIT**
I have read and watched many reviews regarding exhaust systems. They all sound great but I don’t want anything too loud or aggressive and it sounds like Invidia is the way to go.

I find it interesting to check CarMax every so often to see how many / how much our cars are going for. (Don't work for them)
I have to say I think this is the first time I feel like prices are going down a bit (but not much):
Used Lexus RC F for Sale (carmax.com)
And man if I was in the market, that 2016 Infrared with the carbon package and only 9k miles, just take my 56k lol.
