Default this IS500 is more expensive than RCF

I found this car for sale when I was searching ISF.

crazy price
90k, I'd like to buy a used RCF TE.

edit: I never thought a IS500 needed that amount.

Crazy markups by dealership. Same price as a RCF Carbon/TVD edition. My dealership has IS500s available for MSRP with no markups ($78K CAD). Not sure what the seller is thinking.

2022 Lexus IS500 Launch Edition - 1100 miles - Incognito Grey - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion

Oh man, same crazy price as one on the marketplace, I thought it was the same car, but it appears to not be.
This guy gets nothing but crap in the comments for asking 90k lol.

haha, he did ppf full wrap on his car, I believe it costed him 5k - 7k. Not sure about the ceramic coating, if he asked a detailing shop to do it, it might be 1k - 2k.
But the issue is he added these cost on top of his sale price. It sounds like someone spends 50k to decorate his property but the buyers only care about the property dwelling value.

Post a link to your dealership at MSRP. There are people in the IS forum who want to buy and would love you.

My understanding was that there are no more IS500s being sold as new at MSRP.

I think this thread is a little misleading. If you search nationwide for lightly used IS500s and RCFs you'll find that at most, the IS500 Launch Edition (top trim) is equivalent to the price of the base RCF, but that's about where it ends. There may be 1 or 2 exceptions like the one you pointed out in the 1st post, but on average the RCF is still the more expensive car in the used market.

Yes, that is correct. It is just these specific sellers are trying to capitalize on the market craziness.
