Does it happen in normal TVD mode also? Slalom mode can make things feel a little twitchy when driving straight. I set mine back to normal when on the interstate because it feels like it wants to jump lanes all the time.

On the gauges, scroll to TVD and press the select button to put the TVD "bar" in the middle screen. Is the arrow off to one side while driving straight? If so, then the steering and TVD system just needs to be reinitialized. The steering angle sensor is supposed to be reset after an alignment, but most places skip this step because they're still not used to all the electronics in modern cars.

If, after system reset, an alignment, and inspection of worn shocks or bushings, it still feels twitchy, get better tires. Continental ECS and Michelin PS4S XL rated are both great options.

It does not have anything to do with TVD from my experience. I go over bumpy patches all the time in slalom mode and the rear end stays planted. With Michelin tires, I rarely ever get tramlining especially from the rear. I think it is either a suspension issue (leaking shocks or alignment issue) or the tires are tramlining pretty extensively, which is normal for a lot of time of non-Michelin performance tires.

I’ve owned 2 sets of tires non-Michelin though and do not experience this on pot holes in the RCF. The first set was a nightmare…no grip and hard rubber (giggity). I keep asking the poster for the mileage because maybe his shock is worn. Tommy of MusicBox who works on F cars say a lot of cars get worn shocks by 75k+.

It could be worn shocks, increasing the suspension travel. Our rear wheels toe-in during compression and toe-out under droop. So, if the travel is increased, the toe-in and out range is increased also.

Car has 60k miles.
Yes , i am not the first owner so not sure if the previous guy changed the shocks during these 60k.

The twitch is there even on standard TVD setting, worse on slalom but one would expect that.

Back tires are relatively ok, not brand new but i would say half life.

Did not made alignment check yet.Hope to do next week.Busy as hell here....

Some tires despite having lots of tread on them, have a tendency to tramline. It is not how much tread that is left, but how the design of the blocks and tread is that results in tramlining.

I would say, let this thread die until there is some news on suspension check, alignment check and possible tire swap. It is something wrong with the car. Has nothing to do with the TVD.

Additionally, I would check the following:

• Struts to make sure they are OEM and/or leaking
• See if any lowering springs are installed
• Stabilizer links have no movement or play
• bushings have not been altered for the swaybar.

It sounds like one of the above. Or someone returned to stock, and didn't torque to spec. if you have crazy toe in/out, it is causing some countering/fighting steering in the back. I hope that is all it is, but wanted to add some additional color.
