Lexus RCF crashes at Nurburgring
Looks like there was some oversteer that he tried to correct by opposite lock and ended up over-correcting and ended up in the wall on the opposite side. Track looks wet as well.

Was that also a BMW that was crashed and off to the side? I'm honestly surprised Nurburgring lets anyone on their track. With all the accidents I've seen there it seems like a dangerous place for a non-professional driver. Combine that with the overconfidence that the RC F naturally evokes from enthusiasts....dangerous recipe....

About a minute before the crash @2:30 it sounds like the front started to push and he recovered that one. That would've been my sign to back off a bit. Damage looks mostly fixable, at least the F went out on the track in a blaze of glory.

**** man, the risk you take when tracking your car. This really sucks. See this is the prime reason I would prefer to have a 2nd dedicated track toy, specifically for when things like this occur. Hope the damage and component damage isn’t too bad. Damn Barry. I felt that, when he hit that wall.

Just part of the nature of going on a track. It's the exact reason why I bought a dedicated track bike. So I wouldn't destroy my good bike..lol.
It's one of thoes things that if this was your first time on the track you really need to understand and get comfortable. Too many people get on the track and then just GO. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.. It's good to always give some type of margin for error. When you are riding at or above your limit there is no margin anymore to correct. Totally agree with Lost above. That was big clue #1 that he's pushing it too much. Then the second time you can tell he over corrected. If he would have stuck with the oversteer it almost would have been ok.
This could have been way worse but at least the damage doesn't look crazy and most importantly he's not hurt.

He broke two golden track rules. Number one: never track a vehicle you can’t leave in a flaming heap of trash and laugh about it. Number two: NEVER run the last session of the day. There’s always a crash, don’t be greedy.

I think he should total it. As I said above, surface never tells the true damage. The damage is a lot more than what it looks like from the outside. It will never drive the same. I think his insurance does not cover it, which is why he is going to try to fix it.
