Default ‘Stuck’ fuel gauge.

The Lexus that thinks its a BMW keeps giving.

Facelifted 2019 built, 2020 model year now has a ‘stuck’ fuel gauge. Sits at 3/4 full regardless of state of fill.

At least range counter still working.

Back to the dealer. On a first name basis now.

Wow! Such a unique issue. Hopefully, dealership will resolve it. Must be a sensor somewhere.

Must be a bad circuit board or chip

You should get a BMW, you'll probably end up being the guy with the only trouble free BMW.

Found a Toyota/ Lexus protocol on line to reset fuel gauge. Actually worked. Saved a trip to dealer.

Did a quick search and found a few pages and a video documenting how to reset a fuel gauge on a Prius. Not gonna share here since I have no idea if that's what he tried. But does lend some credence that some kind of procedure exists.
