Default Back from a road trip in the F Tx to Mo and back

Did our annual trip to see my dad and 2 sisters up to Shell **** on table rock lake. Get to drive through part of the Ozarks which is nice. Normally, we have to take my wifes RX350. I have a herniated disk (surgery tomorrow) and the seats in the RCF are much more comfortable than the RX350. No pain driving the 10 hours.

Just wanted to say there are more chargers and challengers in AK / MO than you can shake a stick at. Several wanted to race. My wife has MS and has issues with hard acceleration or corners and was not giving me the nod. No prob. had a great time!

I assume, you must be using non-SPORT+ mode as you have AVS (if I am not mistaken) so the suspension must be in soft setting. With non-AVS on 2015 - 2016, depending on how smooth the road is, it could be punishing driving for extended periods of time.

TBH, I was in normal mode for the straight highways. I kept in sport mode when I got close to and in the ozarks. Country roads with slower cars with small passing zones. The ride felt good in the seat. The most pain I get is getting up from sitting. Some pain when sitting but not as bad. something in how i fit in the seat is really comfortable for my back. There was a stretch in Arkansas that the slow lane has lots of bumps. I hung out in the fast lane (not holding up traffic) even though the signs said not to.

Agreed on seats. They are very comfortable. I believe from what I remember, SPORT mode in AVS still keeps it in soft. settings for the most part. It does adapt to the surface and driving style/load etc., but only in SPORT+ is where it remains primarily stiff.

You are correct on the AVS. I set up my custom mode with Sport drivetrain and Sport + (stiff) suspension for reasonably smooth roads. I find that's a good general combination as Sport+ is a little too high strung for typical driving.
