Hi folks,
First post here - looking to jump into an RC F, I saw this one https://www.carmax.com/car/22493260 in my area over at CarMax but I've noticed that it has a custom exhaust (and some vinyl work on the roof and spoiler), wondering, what are your thoughts about this purchase?

Is anyone able to identify the exhaust installed and would you buy this? I know many here are fans of modding but would this be a redflag for you?

If I get it I'm also considering the extended CarMax warranty.

It is actually a base model with vinyl wrap to make it look like CF package. It has the JoeZ exhaust. Did you check the Carfax of it?

Yeah, I initially thought it had the performance package then I noticed the sunroof lol so knew right away it was a wrap.

The auto check history report looks good nothing scary, only two owners.

Just wondering if there is an exhaust there did they tune it as well? And if there's anything else I should be concerned about.

Yes, no TVD button. Tune is a separate item and usually people get the exhaust, but not necessarily the tune. I have RR racing version of the tune and that particular one is very safe, but I would assume the ECU is stock on that RCF as majority of the people who get a full exhaust, don't end up getting a tune.

I don't hate those wheels when they have the dark factory finish on them, but looks like somebody powder coated / or painted them silver. Might want to see if that was personal preference or they are all full of curb grind painted over. See if you can get a service history as well as a PPI.
