Looks like my actuator gave up the ghost yesterday. Doesn't seem "stuck" - seems like it has electrically died.

Has anyone replaced one of these? hard/easy? Looked a bit here on the forums and on YT and didn't see anything specific to the RC/RC-F - FYI, they seem to use the same actuator - lexus p/n 77030-24060

Might want (if possible) change to the 2021 version which opens from the outside by just pushing the door. Makes me wonder how it keeps fuel thieves out, though.

You mean even when the car is locked? Cause that's how my 2015 opens, when it isn't locked. I believe all years RC F's have the same mechanism.

Agreed. That is how I open mine. I rarely ever use the button. Just push the fuel door in and it pops out as long as the car is unlocked.

What button you guys talking about? Just push on the door when unlocked. Sounds like his isn't unlocking?

Maybe I am confusing my RCF with my RX450h (as the RX has a button inside as well). However, my RCF I only use pushing on the lid method. I believe there is a button in the RCF as well, but need to double check.

There is NO fuel door button on the RC F.

Well, I never checked it when the car was locked. But did just now....thanks. The flap is locked when the car is locked.

You’d think it’s locked, that’s what I thought too. You just can’t push the door in so it props open when released. When the car is locked, you can still open the door by getting part of your finger behind the door, then pull it open.
