Default OEM Brakes question

Anyone with oem brakes on their RC F experiencing any issues? When I brake, the pedal and the steering wheel shake, is this normal for Lexus oem brakes? I only have 39K miles only.

I'm wondering if I replace the pads with oem pads, will I experience this problem again?

Or could the shaking be a sign of bad rotors?

Unfortunately, your rotors are warped. Did you buy the car used? How long have you had it for? RCF brakes have a lot of tolerance built into it for hard braking so it looks like there must have been some repeated hard braking from very high speeds. Usually warping happens when there are repeated hard braking from high speeds not allowing enough time for the brakes to cool in between hard braking. That results in the metal of the rotors overheating. When they heat up too much, they start to soften up and braking hard on overheated metal results in the surface on the rotor becoming extremely smooth and deformed. That results in vibrations when you brake. The solution would be to replace both brake pads and disks.

No problems with OEM brakes and rotors. Just be aware a full replacement set are pricey ($5500Aus; ~$4000US).

Thanks for your help. I did get the car used with 5000 miles on it but on any car I've owned, I've never had to replace brake rotors. Probably drove it too hard causing the warped rotors. I'm looking at ordering new pads and rotors and seeing them for around $1500-$1600 but has anyone ordered from lexusoeparts or lexuspartsoutlet?
