But yes, you are correct that previous owners see the price tag of brakes and tires on these cars and can go cheap (or skip and just trade the car in, lol). If I was shopping and didn't see Michelin or Conti tires, I'd then assume the brake pads were the cheapest ones available from rockauto and the brake fluid had never been flushed.

Back on topic, that ebay link for the ones in Missouri look way over priced for some curbed wheels with deep chunks missing. I know ebay has some fees involved, but not that much and a local guy recently sold some mint GSF wheels for about $2k. The Arkansas wheels seem better priced, but in the third picture that wheel looks dented and there's a chunk of tire missing at that spot (very top of the wheel as pictured). I'd ask for more detailed pictures or go look at them in person before purchase.
This car was bought from the first owner via a dealer where it had 5K miles on it, so hardly the tires would have been worn out and neither the the brakes. Latest oil change at dealer at 10K miles had the front brakes rated at 10 and rear ones at 8. I think both tires and brakes are original.

Only thing I wished is to have colored calibers but prefer the black on orange, however, yellow would be my choice.

BTW, are those Continental tires are the originals Lexus put on the RC F? They seem to last nicely but may be expected as I don't do hard cornering often.

Back to thank Everyone again for all the help! So I think the Guy (Chris) that sqlboy2000 pm'd made a deal with me on a set he had taken off. If everything is on the up and up with it, I should have them soon.

Just to clear up, my car is not a RC, it's a 2013 GS360 Lux Edition. I have not seen those wheels pic'd on a Black car as mine is. I think they will look real special. That has to be one of the most difficult Lexus wheels to obtain. I could barley even find a pic of a RC F with those wheels on it searching everywhere.

Congrats, they'll look great!
Post a pic when they're mounted.

Now I know why you asked about the tire combo. I look forward to seeing another RC-F wheel setup on an obsidian GS!
