Default RC F wheel help pls?

Hi. What year RC F did these wheels come on stock? I'm looking for a set to buy. Also were they BBS? Any info about them would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, that is a base model RCF and the standard base wheels were those ones in the picture. They were standard on the 2015 and 2016 model years. 2017+ had a different base wheel design.

BBS made the 20 spokes, not sure about the base wheels. It's not mentioned in the brochure:

Thanks. Are they light weight? I have googled to find them and info. It's even rare that you see a RC F with them on at all.

Anyone seen a set for Sale lately and/or know of a set? I want to Buy a set. Anyone have theses here they want to sell?

They are about the same weight as the 10 spoke or the 20 split spoke forged ones. I would not call them lightweight. About 24 lbs front and 27 lbs rear. The base ones have a simpler design, but they are not forged. The other two are. Yes, all three RCF wheels were made by BBS.

There's a couple sets on eBay, they've been there for awhile, I almost went with these over the set I have. It would be nice to see a set on a GS!

IMHO, those are the best looking RCF OEM wheels. I ran them on my ISF with 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 Bridgestones. Yes they are BBS Did very well for me. I bought my wheels on eBay.

There's only one set on eBay right now with curb rash and they are WAY overpriced

I've interacted with a guy in Orlando that had a set, I pinged him to see if they were still for sale and linked to this thread.

I don't want to get confused and get the wrong ones. How do I know the Base from the good set? Hey thank you Everyone for your help all! You Guy are Great! @BMGS! This is all your and @Nunz fault for making me jealous to get these wheels. I just got to find them at a not Rip off price. The other nice thing was the 10" rear one. I agree with others those are some of the nicest Lexus Factory wheels I have ever seen.

Here's a set too, you'll just need to convince the seller to ship them:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/19400690823...mis&media=COPY

You'll want 15mm spacers up front, (H&R 3065602) and a drop in the rear would really help to tuck them in a bit to be flush.

I messaged that Seller yesterday already about shipping without the Tires. The cost would be high with the tires. They did not respond back. Likely do not want to ship as the ad says, which I can understand. I already have the Spacers. A set of 15mm and a set of 20mm. Thanks!!!!!

Good choice, I find them the best looking wheels, color and design. You may say I'm biased because that's what I have, they look great on red, what color is your RC F?
Only thing I wished is to have colored calibers but prefer the black on orange, however, yellow would be my choice.

BTW, are those Continental tires are the originals Lexus put on the RC F? They seem to last nicely but may be expected as I don't do hard cornering often.

Unfortunately, most of the used RCFs are plagued with this issue where previous owners want to buy a car like this and then put some cheap tires on them. So, yeah they are not meant for the RCF. The 2015 - 2019 RCFs had Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and the 2020+ RCF have the better/newer Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Hey now, Continental ECS and DWS06 are respectable competitors to the Michelin PS4S and AS3+ tires.

But yes, you are correct that previous owners see the price tag of brakes and tires on these cars and can go cheap (or skip and just trade the car in, lol). If I was shopping and didn't see Michelin or Conti tires, I'd then assume the brake pads were the cheapest ones available from rockauto and the brake fluid had never been flushed.

Back on topic, that ebay link for the ones in Missouri look way over priced for some curbed wheels with deep chunks missing. I know ebay has some fees involved, but not that much and a local guy recently sold some mint GSF wheels for about $2k. The Arkansas wheels seem better priced, but in the third picture that wheel looks dented and there's a chunk of tire missing at that spot (very top of the wheel as pictured). I'd ask for more detailed pictures or go look at them in person before purchase.
