Default Genuine Lexus High Performance Air Filter

I just installed the Genuine Lexus High Performance Air Filter purchased from LexusBoutique.net in Tokyo, Japan into my 2015 Lexus RCF.

It is the only performance air filter Lexus recommends for the 2015-2022 RCF. They are on sale right now for $119.00 the regular price is $150.00. I’m wondering if anyone in the ClubLexus family has also bought the air filter where they can leave a comment below. It weighs more than twice the stock filter and Lexus says it’s more responsive. I have not driven my RCF yet since I installed it. Because of the only way to get these parts out of Japan, it has to be shipped FedEx for $65.00. I purchased two of them to drop the price of each one. The filter is F blue.

These are dry, non-serviceable filters, right? Imagine throwing it away after 15-20k miles and buying another lol.

I think I asked about this filter on FB a year ago and got the same replies in terms of it's a Blitz filter. Steven over at MOD has a better price point than LB.

Blitz Japan LM Drop-in Panel Filter Upgrade for Lexus IS F / RC F / GS F 2UR-GSE - BLIT-59545 (modinjapan.com)

I'm starting to hate Lexus Boutique for how outrageous their prices are.

I was going to buy OEM front upper and lower grill trim pieces from them for my CT that are black chrome (just like the face lifted RCF) and it was going to be over $500 with another $200 in shipping. I then found the same pieces on yahoo japan auctions and used japanparts as the proxy. Ended up being about $300 TOTAL for everything..smh. Their prices are wack for sure..lol. Now I just browse yahoo auction japan and if I see something I'll order it that way via a proxy site. It's significantly cheaper.

Then I thought about the AFE filter but sticking with stock air filter.

Let us know how you like the filter.

It would be foolish to throw this away when you can clean it with compressed air. I’m sure there is a mild filter detergent that you can clean it with as well.

According to the Lexus Japan Report, Some Lexus Genuine High Performance products are OEM and outsourced by Blitz Japan.

This High Performance Air Filter is not made of paper filter.

This high performance filter is being used by the Lexus Racing GT500 Team in Japan.

Just a branded dry high flow filter. I wouldn't buy.

Default Blitz Filter Vs Lexus Performance Filter

I ordered a Blitz air filter for my RCF today from Japan. Stay tuned when I show you the difference in them. Both brand new.

Default Blitz Filter Comparison

Hello ClubLexus RCF Owners. Today I received from Japan, the Blitz air filter that fits the RCF’s 2UR GSE 5.0 liter from 2015 to present. Below you will see that the air filter is the same from Lexus Boutique and Blitz. With the two new filters Blitz and Lexus Boutique, a new Lexus/Toyota, and a Blitz filter installed less than a hundred miles ago, I think that I have enough to last me for several years. In four months I will have had my RCF, nine years with only 11,466 miles. See my photos below.

Blitz air filter box front.

Blitz air filter box back.

Blitz air filter on the left side and Lexus Boutique air filter on the right.

Blitz air filter on the bottom and Lexus Boutique air filter on the top.

Default Price of Blitz Air Filter

I purchased the Blitz air filter from eBay. Total cost included shipping(free) and state sales tax, $106.18. Below is my receipt with seller information if anyone wants to purchase it.
