Default Does anyone have any information on this exhaust setup

I came across this setup online. Company is called RES it's based in China. They produce titanium valved setups for our cars, the price Is extremely competitive if not too good. Does anyone have information about the company, gains of this exhaust setup and reliability. Please chime in if any information.

Never heard of it. Looks great in pictures. Sound clips are also pretty important to see how it sounds.

So far I've only found one video on this exhaust, and it doesn't actually sound too bad:

More information the piping diameter of the exhaust is 2.48 mm as opposed to other aftermarket options on 2.75 and 3 mm apparently they took the oem measurements don't know if that is OK for an aftermarket option

There are some other aftermarket exhausts like the now-discontinued Borla that were 2.5 inches so it is not uncommon. The Invidia is 2.75 inches. I have heard RR Racing say 2.5 inches vs 2.75 inches does not make a significant difference.

2.5" on these cars is fine. The big gains come from deleting the secondary cats in the mid-pipe. So full titanium in this case is really just weight savings and sound.

I’d be leary about ordering a cheap Titanium exhaust from China.

Titanium loves to crack and it looks like there are way too many welds and joints on that setup.

I think you will find that it will often need repair.

Here's another one on off their youtube page. Little longer than the first clip.

Yes

My GT HAUS titanium midpipe cracked and they repaired it

See if you can even find a vendor for RES who will reply to you

That is a lot of pie cuts and welding for sure. I have the GTHaus Ti midpipe and Toms Ti exhaust on my GSF. The Toms has mandrel bent Ti piping. The GTHaus also has mandrel bent Ti piping and minimal welds-mostly at the crossover section. I think the total weight of my full Ti exhaust-midpipe combo was 27lbs so 33 is not bad depending on the price.
