The 2020 update took away alot of the visual character of the original. I think Lexus were hurt by Clarkson’s ugly comments and ‘camrised’ the car. I saw what I thought was a black RCF in my rear view mirror only to realise it was a ‘sporty’ camry when it got close.

The auto gear box is either depressed (eco, normal, sport) or manic (sport plus). It can get confused if you floor it, slow down and floor it again. It refuses to kick down and your left with a moments hesitation and no power.

The brakes. Soft as butter oem pads and rotors in a 2 ton car means squeal, brake dust and $5000 Aus a pop to replace every 20 000 miles.

And why no spare tyre. AMG gives you the option to purchase one. I have. Had 2 nails and an air leak and only saved by my Ryobi battery powered pump I now lug around in my boot with a repair kit. The goo inflator provided is crap.

I was at my independent mechanic who is a European car specialist. I used to have a Porsche Macan but came to my senses. Anyway, there was this Lamborghini there getting tons of expensive work done as usual. I was able to have a look inside. I was shocked. The quality of materials was laughable even compared to an Acura. I don’t know how much you know about cars but Toyota/Lexus sells the most reliable car for any amount of money. And Lexus quality is higher than even more prestigious vehicles. So I guess your RC-F is a lemon because mine still looks minty fresh.
