My oldest daughter joined the Lexus family last week. She bought a SUV. I went with her and her husband to the dealer to check it out and needed to buy a couple of items from the parts dept.

We are in the finance office. My son in law is moving stuff from the old vehicle to the newer. Finance guy tells my daughter he can get her an extended warranty for 36 months and.....I interrupted him and asked how much. He tells me and I say nope to my daughter. She asks me a couple of questions about it and I tell her to call her husband and have him come inside. He tells the finance guy no thanks too.

about 1 minute later the office phone rings for the finance guy. he answers hello and just listens for 5-10 seconds then hangs up. I commented that was odd and he just mumbled something. I could not help myself. I asked him if that was a call from someone trying to reach him about the extended warranty on his car? My daughter, son in law and I all laughed. The finance guy did not find it funny at all....lol
